PALACE OF THE PRINCES OF THE GLORIETA.-
Built by the "Princes of the Glorieta" Don Francisco Argandoña and his wife, it is
situated 5 kilometres from Sucre on the road to Potosí. The palace is considered to be
an interesting example of the European eclectic architecture of the last third of the 19th
Century.
In the different parts of the building are examples of diverse architectural styles: a
Dutch frontis in renaissance style, romantic octagonal towers, two main stories
constructed in Byzantine style, an Arabic piazza of arches, turn of the century
Florentine aspects, a chapel with a gothic steeple, etc.
The decoration of the interior is based on French elements, finished to the ornate
standard that was typical of European palaces of the time.

YOTALA.-
Yotala is a typical colonial village. Its white walls and red roofs line streets that reveal the prevailing
urban structure that was common in such areas during the 17th Century. Today it is a quiet town
where residents of the city of Sucre have established weekend houses, either refurbishing the
old country houses or building new country retreats.

PUENTE MENDEZ (PUENTE SUCRE).-
Located over the Pilcomayo River, main tributary of the river La Plata, it was built at
the end of last century. It is a suspention bridge whose foundation is based on towers
that bring to mind medieval constructions. Today in disuse, it has been conserved as a
national monument.
